  • By creating a personalized gift registry on this site, your wedding guests contribute to sending you on the honeymoon of your dreams or to the purchase of luxurious items.
  • You create an online gift registry that consists of choosing honeymoon gifts such as: scuba diving, a round of golf, contributions towards airfare, accommodations etc and/or luxury items: a leather couch, a plasma television, a hot tub etc. It will become your personalized registry!   • If there is something you desire that is not on our site, we can add it for you. Just contact us.

 

Wedding Guests

  1. The wedding couple provides you with their login details in order to access their wedding registry (see your registry announcement card or your e-mail invite).
  2. Enter these details in the “Wedding Guests: Give a Gift” box. Get started.
  3. Once you are at their personalized site, you can start shopping.
  4. You can buy item(s) for their honeymoon (dinner for two, scuba diving etc) or contribute to a larger item (airfare, hot tub etc).

How much does it cost?

There are no set-up fees. This registry is free for wedding couples since it is their special day. The wedding guests pay a 12% service fee. This fee helps to cover our printing and postage costs, PayPal services, website fees and all other expenses. This is typically less than what guests would pay for on gift taxes, wrapping, shipping, gas etc.

 

Is my personal information safe?

Your personal information is valued at ByeByeBlender.com. We will not share or sell your information. It is used for administrative purposes only!

 

What methods of payment are available?

Bye Bye Blender uses PayPal’s secure service, which accepts credit cards (i.e. Mastercard, Visa, AMEX), debit cards, bank transfers and more. PayPal enables you to pay without the seller (Bye Bye Blender) ever seeing your bank account or credit card numbers. You can also send us a cheque or money order. Our contact details.

 

Is my credit card information safe?

We never have access to your credit card information. In fact, no credit card numbers are stored on our site. Any information you give is stored on their secure servers. I want to learn more about PayPal

 

When a guest makes a purchase, where does the money go?

Money is initially deposited into our PayPal account and then transferred to our In-Trust Bank account at TD Canada Trust. At the closure of the couple''s wedding registry, we issue the funds to the couple.

 

Which currencies are accepted?

All currencies are accepted through the PayPal service, which is used on this site. If you are paying by cheque and live outside of Canada, you will need to send us a money order.

 

 

How will our wedding guests know that we are registered at byebyeblender.com?

  1. Bye Bye Blender will send you up to 50 free and personalized registry announcement cards, which you can insert in your wedding invitations. If you need more cards, you can purchase them for 50 cents per card.
  2. Send an e-mail invitation to guests. Login to your registry, under Couple''s Registry click on "Send an invite to guests". This is the fastest and easiest method! Send out as many e-mail invitations as you want.

How do our guests purchase the gifts?

On the registry announcement card or in the invitation e-mail you send to your guests, there will be your login details. On every page of the site, guests can enter your login details in the "Wedding Guests:Give a Gift" box.Your gift registry will appear and they can start shopping! They will receive a receipt of their purchase(s).

 

How will the wedding couple know I bought them a gift?

The wedding couple will know that you purchased them a gift in two ways. When you make a purchase(s), the wedding couple will be sent an e-mail informing them about what was purchased and by whom. Secondly, when the registry closes, the wedding couple will be sent a beautiful Gift Registry Keepsake. They will be sent a list of the people that contributed to their registry and what each individual or couple purchased.

 

What if there is something we want in our registry and it is not listed?

This is simple! Contact us and we will be happy to add it for you!

 

How do we receive our gift contributions?

Your gift contributions will be sent to you either by cheque or direct deposit into your chosen bank account. We normally send you the contributions at the closure of your registry. You choose these dates on your registry application. If you desire to have the money withdrawn earlier, just contact us.

 

Can Bye Bye Blender be used for other special occasions besides weddings?

Absolutely! It can be used for birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries or other special occasions. You can contact us to provide the items you would like displayed in your gift registry. We can customize for every occasion!

 

What if we have already booked our honeymoon?

You can start your registry on Bye Bye Blender before or after booking your travel plans. You can book your travel with any company in order to find the best deals. We are not affiliated with any travel agencies; therefore, we only host your registry.

 

When should we open our registry?

The sooner the better! It will help you pre-plan your honeymoon or luxury gifts and get the word out to your family and friends.

 

What if we have to cancel our registry?

We would close your registry when directed and provide you with the gift contributions in order for you to return them to your guests.

 

Where do we book our travel?

Bye Bye Blender is not affiliated with any travel agencies. This gives you the freedom to book travel wherever you want and to get the best deals.

 

What if our guests are not computer literate?

They can contact us and we can guide them through each step. Guests have the option to call, fax or mail their order. If your guests have any questions while using our site, they can call us toll free at 613-850-7746.

 

When should we close our registry?

If your registry is based on your honeymoon, we recommend at least 2 weeks before you depart. On the other hand, if your registry is based on other items, we suggest shortly after your wedding. However, it is up to you!

 

How do you send us our gift contributions?

We can send you your gift contributions via direct deposit into your chosen bank account or by cheque.

 

Can we change the prices of the gifts?

Simply contact us and we can do it for you.
